PHILOSOPHY
Music for Everyone
I passionately believe that everyone has musical aptitude. With patience, hard work, and a good teacher, anyone can learn to play the piano! My teaching style is based on Music Learning Theory, the scientific process of how we learn music, which mirrors language development. I also seek to incorporate whole body, healthful technique right from the beginning, so that my students have the skills to enjoy music their whole lives. My students explore a variety of repertoire and participate in festivals, recitals, RCM and CNCM exams, and have regularly achieved high marks, scholarships, and awards.
